About Me

My name is Kevin Jones, and I am a Health Coach. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from FSU in Exercise & Nutritional Science, and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology/Health Promotion & Nutrition.

-Wellness Authority: To reach your personal health goal, often times it helps to have assistance from a wellness specialist. Optimal health is not attained through diet and exercise alone… You have to take into account the WHOLE picture. I work with you to identify the areas that need improvement, as well as build upon the positive habits already established. Through structure, support, and motivation, I will help you look, feel, and perform at your best!

-Personal Trainer: From soccer to baseball, then to swimming, I made the transition into weight-lifting. I started off with power-lifting, then moved to bodybuilding, only to start doing crossfit-type workouts (long before crossfit existed). Finally, I have found my passion in martial arts. Needless to say, I have trained competitively in many completely different ways. The experience I've gained from participating in multiple styles of exercise/training enables me to build very unique workouts custom-tailored to each individual's needs and goals.

-Nutrition Guru: It seems that when most people hear the term nutrition, they immediately think DIETING, and starving yourself of the delicious foods you love. Eating healthy does not have to be a chore! Through lots of self-experimentation, I have tried most foods and diets, including Paleo, Primal, Raw, Raw-Vegan, Vegan, Vegetarian, Atkins, Zone, Mediterranean, and more... ALL of these diets have strong points, and ALL of them are also flawed. The thing that I have learned through years of trial and error is that no single diet is the answer… Instead, the greatest health benefits will be reaped by eating a well-balanced diet and, most importantly, listening to your body!

-Mentor & Support: All of us have been through our own trials and tribulations… they test us, stress us, and mess up our daily lives. Unfortunately, a lot of our bad habits and poor behaviors began with a difficult situation or period in our lives. During my undergrad years, I was actively seeing a therapist a few times per week to help me get over certain negative patterns and emotions that were literally draining the life out of me. I learned such great techniques and information regarding human behavior during these visits that I decided to minor in psychology. Now I have an in-depth understanding of the human psyche and behavioral patterns derived from school and personal experience. With this powerful knowledge, I have been able to develop tools to help people overcome unhealthy habits by finding the root of their cause.


What sets ME apart from the rest????

If you have visited other websites belonging to Health & Wellness Coaches, you may see that they have a badge of certification from a Health Coach program. After extensive research on these different “schools”, I uncovered some unsettling aspects surrounding these programs… First, they do not require any training in science, nutrition, exercise, or anything health-related. In fact, they only require a high-school diploma or a GED. Second, the whole point of having a PERSONAL Health Coach stems from INDIVIDUALIZING a program and support structure for each separate client. These schools give their students documents and templates to use with every client. In other words, it’s just another cookie-cutter approach! Even the websites of these coaches have been pre-fabricated by these schools.

Don’t make the mistake of hiring an inexperienced “coach” who simply paid for a badge to put next to their name. I have real-world experience and an ever-expanding knowledge-base. With my past education, current research, and years of prior coaching experience, I have ALL the tools necessary to get you where you want to be!
